San Diego as a city managed to surprise me in every good way possible. I spent three full days in SoCal and, from what my coworkers, family and everyone else were telling me, that should have been enough to bore the heck outta me. Well, surprisingly, I found these three days just the right amount of time to get to know this lovely town and, contrary to my previous beliefs, I wouldn’t mind spending even more time here or re-visiting the city. From the first day, I saw quite some diversity in SD. Read More »
Mission and Pacific Beach were pretty nice by itself. But after seeing some pictures and hearing stories, I knew I had to check out La Jolla. So on my last day in San Diego I made the trip over to the coast again (altogether about an hour of a bus ride from the Gaslamp District). Read More »

Hallgrimskirkja was certainly one of those sights I simply had to visit again. While I only skimmed past this beautiful church on my last visit, I finally went back for a couple of nights and mornings to do some proper long-exposure photography.Read More »
It’s a brand-new year- since 9 long days already. And with excitement of the New Year come of course a few new resolutions, which in my case are synonymous to travel plans. I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t have a few destinations picked out for this upcoming year already. The first confirmed trip of 2016 is indeed a visit back home. Read More »
Day Three turned out to be my last day in the second hilliest city out west. After three different cities, three different types of people, food, and culture, I couldn’t believe that I was almost all set to go back East. I felt that San Francisco had been a place a lot of people visit and therefore Read More »
After the quick hiatus to Vancouver, the city of Seattle had me back. I was to spend a few more days here and was hard-pressed to take advantage of all of its good sides. Especially now Read More »
I started off my second stretch by first getting breakfast and meeting some cool travelers at the hostel. One was an Australian girl doing her working holiday in Canada. She was 30 and was looking Read More »
