Went to a coffee shop today. It was so amazing that we did half a photo shoot over there…
After a week-long sickness (A cold? Or a flu?) I felt like leaving the house again just for fun again (and not for work). I first got a new haircut in Greenpoint and then wandered through McCarren Park to Williamsburg, where I met up with a friend for brunch. Brunch was Southwestern Style biscuits.

Afterwards we wandered around Bedford, stopping by the random little boutiques and more stores. We walked into a coffee shop and I discovered their outdoor patio by pure coincidence. It was so amazing – just the right time to have found it. Fall leaves were scattered all over the ground, and there was rocking furniture that was meant to be tried out, and hanging sacks provided shade from the sun. Black Brick Coffee in Williamsburg calls itself a work café. We thought it was too mighty cute for just that. Indeed, we had so much fun, that we tried out the same poses with the same colorful furniture in the background.

Altogether, a Saturday well spent, especially after feeling like crap for most of the week.
